Street Smarts

Alas, I haven't updated this page in a while, not because I haven't felt like it, nor because it is no longer shown in Delaware, but because of when it is on.... It's on at 4:30. In the morning!
You just can't make this up!! There was a TV program (in the Delaware area on channel 48 weekdays at 10:00 PM) called Street Smarts. The host, Frank Nicotero, asks three people on the street the same questions and tapes the answers. In-studio contestants wager whether or not they think the people will, in three consecutive rounds, get it right, wrong, or either. The last round is played much like final Jeopardy!® where the contestants bet up to their winnings on a final guess.
These are some of the questions people got wrong. Where an answer was provided, or where I remember the street answer, I have provided it in parenthesis below. As I said, you just can't make this up (these are televised answers).
